Capping this year’s country’s largest LGBT film festival brings together world-renowned directors and actors coming from different countries. One thought on QC International Pink Film Festival 2015 runs from October 6 to 11 at Gateway Cineplex of Gateway Mall with a formal opening ceremony that will be attended by select movie stars both foreign and local, film producers, directors, local officials, and dignitaries. This celebrated gatherings is made possible through the initiative of the Quezon City Pride Council in partnership with the Quezon City government under the auspices of Mayor Herbert Bautista.

This was the second annual event of the Pink Film Festival. I first met Direk NP Picadizo who directed Althea Vega and Angel Aquino in “Astray” which won several awards at a New York film festival. Though I am straight; I support their freedom of expression and I had photo ops with some of the more colorful of the “Rainbow” LGBT pride.
